Former Attorneys General file amicus brief

Three former Attorneys General--Edwin Meese III, Dick Thornburgh, and William Barr--who served in the Reagan and George H.W. Bush administrations have filed an amicus curiae brief in support of Virginia in Virginia v. Sebelius. Between the three of them, they held the office of Attorney General from February 1985 to January 1993. The brief is authored by Michael A. Carvin and C. Kevin Marshall of Jones Day.
